Export Meta Ad Library ads to Google Sheets

In the Ad Library every ad is a card on a web page. AdVantage Scope writes the ads you pick, or every ad card on the page, as rows in a spreadsheet in your own Google account.

Why ad research ends up in screenshots

Reading ads in the library is easy. Keeping them, comparing them next month or sharing them with a team is where the time goes.

Copying takes longer than reading

Brand, landing link, start date: every field is a separate copy and paste, and days running has to be counted from the start date by hand.

A card is not a row

You cannot sort cards by days running or group them by domain on the page. For that the ads have to be in a table first.

Next week you start again

When you repeat the research, the new list is built from zero and old and new rows are hard to tell apart.

Same research, two ways

The data is the same; what changes is who copies it into the table.

With the Ad Library alone

  1. Open each ad and copy the brand and the link
  2. Count days running from the start date
  3. Paste every field into the spreadsheet by hand
  4. Repeat it all for the next search

One search can take an afternoon, and the rows only hold what you had time to copy.

With AdVantage Scope

Connect your Google account once and create a spreadsheet from the side panel. Then send the ads you saved, every ad card on the page, or a single ad with a double-click. New rows are added below the old ones.

What goes into the spreadsheet

The columns and the buttons below are the extension's own; the spreadsheet is in your Google account.

One row per ad

Brand, domain, button (CTA), days running, landing URL, Shopify type and the date the row was sent. The header row is written only when the sheet is empty; every send adds rows at the end.

Three ways to send

Send the ads you saved, send every ad card on the page after an Auto Scan, or double-click a creative to send just that ad. You choose what a double-click does in the settings: save, send to spreadsheet or off.

Automatic send when you save

Turn on "Auto-send when an ad is saved" and every ad you save joins a queue that is written to the sheet in one batch each minute, with no extra click.

Choose the rows before you send

"Send every ad on the page" takes every card the extension has processed, including the ones your card filters hide. To send only a selection, save the ads you want and send the saved list.

Filter to find the rows

Filter the cards by status, button, media, days running, stage or Shopify type; what remains on the screen is the short list worth saving.

Days running comes from the card

Every card shows how many days the ad has been running and its stage. The same days running number goes into the spreadsheet column, so you do not count it by hand.

Only your own spreadsheet

The extension connects to your Google account and writes only to your own spreadsheet. The rows are not sent to us.

Can I export Meta Ad Library ads to CSV or Excel?
The extension writes to Google Sheets. From Google Sheets you can download the same sheet as a CSV or Excel file with File, then Download.
Which plan includes the Google Sheets export?
The export is part of the Starter plan. Scanning and card filters also work on the free plan, which scans 2,000 ads a day and asks for no card. Plans are on the pricing page.
Does the spreadsheet include the images and videos?
No. A row holds the brand, domain, button, days running, landing URL, Shopify type and a date. The creatives stay in the Meta Ad Library.
Do I need a Facebook login or an ad account?
No. You sign in with Google so the extension can write to your spreadsheet. It does not connect to Facebook, an ad account or Ads Manager.
Can I keep sending to the same spreadsheet?
Yes. The spreadsheet you created stays selected in the side panel, and each send adds rows at the end, so research from different weeks builds up in one place.
